Ammokrinos
Located just 150 meters from the beach, in a quiet area of Kalamaki, our accommodation awaits you. Ammokrinos is a complex consisting of six brand new, luxurious residences and five pools.
Among these residences, two (Rizes and Anthos) have direct access to and view of the pool, a large outdoor area that includes the pool, and views of the sea. The pool is shared only by these two residences.
The third residence of the complex (Melina) features a private pool and has unobstructed views of the sea and the mountains.
The fourth residence (Almyra) also has a private pool and sea views.
The fifth residence (Katerina) features a private pool and has unobstructed sea views.
Finally, the sixth residence (Thines) features a private pool, sea views, and is designed to accommodate people with special needs.
All the pools in the complex use state-of-the-art cleaning and disinfection mechanisms without chlorine.
The complex has installed a photovoltaic system to ensure energy efficiency and to minimize its environmental impact.
The story of the lily of the Sand
The humble yet enchanting sand lily is one of the most beautiful and rare flowers found on Greek beaches. With remarkable resilience, it manages to survive the extreme heat and harsh summer conditions where the sand scorches and the wind dries out every trace of moisture. Its secret lies in its exceptionally deep roots, which delve far into the ground in search of the coolness and stability it needs to thrive.
This delicate plant grows exclusively on pristine coastlines, very close to the sea, where the waves gently kiss the shore. Its blossoms open only in the late afternoon, as if following a secret rhythm of nature. That is when the magic begins: a specific nocturnal moth — its sole pollinator — appears quietly and gracefully, drawn by the flower's fragrance and beauty. This unique relationship between the plant and the insect resembles a dance of nature, a silent symphony of life played under the twilight sky.
